Chasing color. That color that feels right.

When I paint, I'm not chasing realism — I'm chasing color. That color that feels right.

What draws me to painting is the moment an empty canvas becomes something that holds a feeling, a memory, a shape, or a place I only imagined. I work with strong pigments and bold color, letting the paint carry what words sometimes can't.

I come from Latvia, where I grew up close to the beach and in the middle of a pine forest. Maybe that's why my inspiration usually comes from nature and travel — the light shining through trees, towering mountains, reflections in water, the colors of a beach sunset. And from Mia, my sassy assistant cat, who always helps whether I'm making art or working.

My path has been anything but linear — I studied art history and German literature, then went on to a Master's in Computer Science. I've worked in international relations and diplomacy before moving into tech. My roots in tech are in agile coaching — now I lead teams as an engineering manager. I'm passionate about helping others grow. To share my experience and learnings, I offer coaching for women in leadership and women in tech, and most recently, AI consulting.
